Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, all therapy sessions that I offer are now online. Online therapy has many benefits: there is no travel time, you can access a therapist regardless of location, you can have the sessions in the comfort of your own home and some people feel more able to be open communicating in this way.
I offer video call sessions via the Zoom or Vsee platforms. The first session for all clients is an initial consultation where we can explore what brings you to therapy, what you would like to gain, find out about me and importantly see if you feel comfortable talking to me in this way.
Is online therapy secure?
I use Zoom or Vsee for these sessions as they meet the highest standards for security and offer what is called end-to-end encryption, they are free to download and simple to setup and use.
Does online therapy ‘work’?
There are numerous studies suggesting that online therapy is equally effective as face-to-face sessions.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are the usual time of 50 minutes and £50.
